Brianna Waguespack is 16 years old and is currently a sophomore at Lutcher High School, located in Lutcher, Louisiana. Born and raised a small town girl, she resides in Paulina, Louisiana with her father, Brent Waguespack. Brianna has one older brother, Ryan Yashack, and is immensely proud of him. She feels privileged to say that her brother has served seven years in the United States Air Force, recently returned from Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom) and continues to be the best big brother a girl could ask for.

Brianna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheerleading, “Google-ing,” trips to the beach, and attending as many Louisiana festivals as possible!  At LHS, she is a varsity cheerleader and a member of the Gifted and Talented Program. In her community, she is member of The Festival of the Bonfires Committee and is also on the Pageant board.

After graduating from high school, Brianna’s main focus will be on attending and graduating from college and Medical school in hopes of becoming a child psychiatrist.  During her reign as Miss Louisiana Teen USA, Brianna plans to do philanthropic work with organizations involving children. “Every child deserves a chance to chase their dreams. I want to help in any way that I can.”

In April 2009, Brianna entered the Miss Louisiana Teen Gulf Coast USA pageant, and proudly won the preliminary title. Following this win, she persistently went to work preparing both mentally and physically for the Louisiana Teen USA title. On October 31, 2009, her dreams were made into reality when she was crowned Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2010. She sees this year as a blessing and an opportunity and plans to make the most of it.

Brianna has set a main goal as Miss Louisiana Teen USA of being a positive role model for girls all around Louisiana and to represent her state proudly at Miss Teen USA.
