Erin Edmiston is the 22 year old daughter of David and Gema Edmiston from Lafayette, Louisiana. She has one 26 year old brother, Drew Edmiston who lives in Los Angeles, California. Erin attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she is a senior studying
General Studies with a focus in communications. She will be graduating in December 2011. Erin is very involved in her university where she participates in numerous organizations on campus and served on the homecoming court this past year. She is also an active volunteer for Miles Perret Cancer Services in Lafayette, LA and is a proud donor for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Erin was given the opportunity to visit the hospital in Memphis, TN and it definitely opened her eyes to a lot of things. Cancer is very close to her heart, being that her father is a survivor of throat cancer. She is looking forward to teaching woman the importance of following their dreams. With this title, Erin wants to show the people of Louisiana how much this wonderful state means to her. She truly is proud to be a Ragin' Cajun!
