Sydney Taylor

Sydney Taylor is 23 years old from Livingston. She is a recent graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelors’ degree in accounting. Sydney plans to attend LSU Law School in the fall of 2024 to eventually become a corporate attorney. 
 
Sydney is the daughter of Courtney and Billy Taylor, and has two younger sisters – Shelby and Gracie, and two golden retrievers. Growing up as an athlete, Sydney realizes the impact sports have on our youth and life lessons that can be learned on a field or a court. Not only is she a softball coach, but she founded an organization called Play With a Purpose to collect equipment and raise money for young athletes to reach their full potential in sports. 
 
In her free time, Sydney enjoys doing Pilates, playing pickleball or pick-up basketball, and spending time with her family. 
 
Sydney is ecstatic and grateful to have the opportunity to represent Louisiana at Miss USA 2024. Throughout her reign as Miss Louisiana USA, she plans to advocate for youth in sports and continue to grow her nonprofit.

  • I am the tallest person in my family.

  • I have two golden retrievers named Vinnie and Ollie.

  • Mac and cheese is my favorite food.
